2days of training
1roof, everyone under it

Since 2006, more than 1,500 people have bowed onto our mat. You're one of them.

  1. Maybe you trained for a decade.
  2. Maybe for a winter.
  3. Maybe you swept the floor.
  4. Sat in seiza until your legs went numb.
  5. Picked up a bokken for the first time.
  6. Got thrown into the wall by someone twice your size.
  7. It all counts.

The long way round

Two decades,
one mat.

The mat you trained on this week has been walked on for 20 years. Some who bowed onto it are teaching now. Some moved interstate. Some you train beside every week.

Newcastle Aikido opens at 7 Bennett St, Hamilton.
